Film stars Deborah Kerr and Donna Reed are photographed in 1953 playing golf at Wai’alae Golf and Country Club in between takes of classic From Here To Eternity which was filmed in Hawaii. One scene, where Montgomery Clift’s character is shot was filmes by the bunker on the first hole of the course which this week’s Sony Open.  Golf has been played at Wai’alae since 1927. Resurgent Matt Kuchar leads the Sony Open going into the third round.
